Seven year old girl Blessing Nyamuparadza started a foundation to cater for the disadvantaged school children to get a better chance in life. She was inspired to do so in Mazowe District, Nyachuru Primary School, Howard. The young philanthropist began this project whilst in grade two and she is now fifteen years old at Mavhuradonha High School.
Her vision was creating a stable foundation for a meaningful participation of children in sustainable socio-economic development while promoting innovative social responsibility, life skills, entrepreneurship, leadership development and academic excellence.
At a tender age it is amazing she wrote to be the leading and first class promoter of child involvement and empowerment in socio-economic development through preservation of cultural heritage, innovative social responsibility, life skills, leadership development linked with academic excellence.
This has gone a long way in assisting the disadnantaged from across all societies with her motto BY CHILDREN : WITH CHILDREN: FOR CHILDREN: TO CHILDREN A VISION BEYOND TOMORROW.
The provision concept for Stable Children’s Foundation strives to employ a multi-sectoral approach since the word ProVision is from two words were pro is a prefix and Vision is a suffix which implies that the ProVision to support this vision is conceived inside the vision itself. The concept sustainably supports the ideo- logy of self-reliance through using locally available resources. It seeks to use the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) model.
