Zimbabwe’s Vice President Kembo Mohadi on Monday tendered his resignation to his boss President Emmerson Mnangagwa with immediate effect over allegations that he had a sexual relationship with various women including married ones.
His resignation came few weeks after an online publication Zimlive ran a series of his phone conversations with the ladies he’s accused of bedding in his office – government offices.
The former Home Affairs Minister denied the allegations but said is taking the bold decision to leave the country’s top three post not as a matter of cowardice but rather a sign of respect to the office of the President.
