Goromonzi South Constituency legislator Energy Mutodi was on Monday finally replaced as Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services following the President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s new cabinet appointments.

The controversial ZANU PF Member of Parliament was fired on May 20, 2020 under unclear circumstances.
Mutodi has been replaced by the is the current Zanu PF secretary for administration for Mashonaland West and legislator for Makonde Kindness Paradza.
The latest cabinet appointments have also witnessed the replacements of the late ministers Joel Biggie Matiza, Sibusiso Moyo and Ellen Gwaradzimba by Felix Tapiwa Mhona, Amb Frederick Shava and Nokhuthula Matsinyire respectively.
The three late ministers died more than a fortnight ago from COVID-19 related complications.
Michael Madiro has also been tasked to assist Mhona as Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development.
In another new appointment, Ruth Mavhunga Mabhoyi has been appointed Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.
