Impala Car Rental chief executive officer, Thompson Dondo has donated about ZWL$500 000 to a disabled Budiriro man whose house was demolished recently.

Dondo has promised to transfer the money into Nhamo  Magwizi’s  account today without fail so that he may be assisted .

Impala CEO further promised to deliver every need that Magwizi may requested

In a sad narration by Magwizi, the demolition of his house occurred while he was not home but however his property was saved by neighbours and relatives before demolition.

“When the demolitions took place, I was not around. I received a phone call from some of my neighbours and relatives. I was fortunate that these neighbours and relatives managed to remove my property from the house before it was demolished. After the demolitions they also managed to save some of my bricks,” he explained.

Government on the other hand has also donated a tent to every family with house demolished in order to save property from rain.

This came after the court has ordered the demolition of more than 100 houses calling these houses to be illegal structures leaving many families homeless while the country is receiving incessant rainfall.
