David is not President Mnangagwa’s biological son: NewsDay retracts the statement.

NewsDay has apologised and retracted its statement for naming Tarirai David Mnangagwa as one of the first family’s children.
In a statement, NewsDay said it has corrected the statement that David is not the biological son of the President but rather his nephew.
“On Thursday, November 12, 2020, we published a story with a headline, Mnangagwa’s son in gold mine grab.While Tarirai David Mnangagwa, the subject of the story is related to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, him being the son to the late President’s brother, David, the assertion that he is his biological son was, we apologise without reservation the error,” said NewsDay.
This came after the deputy chief Secretary in the office of the President and Cabinet George Charamba has demanded for an apology and retraction of statement from the publication if they failed to provide evidence on the relationship claims between David and the first family
In the story David is being accused of seizing gold mining in Gweru after he was invited to invest in the business.
