Kadungure family has dismissed the ‘all white farewell party for the late Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure rumour circulating on social media.
Speaking to the media, the family spokesperson, Clement Kadungure, a brother to Ginimbi said the family has no plans for a send off party as opposed to social media claims that it was his brother’s wish to have such at his funeral.
“As Kadungure family we have no plans of hosting a send off party for my brother, it is just social media that is circulating that information as well as people in the family without the voice of authority to speak,” said Clement
He further added that there is no truth that is circulating on social media about the funeral program but rather the Kadungure family has truth.
Clement has also insisted that people and the media should seek full and truthfull information from the family not through social media
“…people should come and seek first hand information from the Kadungure family so that they do not mislead others.We are receiving many calls of different people confirming of a lot things that are circulating on social media”
He further added that Ginimbi’s coffin is to imported from South Africa and burial will be conducted on Saturday after midday.
“The coffin will be imported from South Africa not that one that is circulating on social media,” Clement has added.
