City Council Temporarily Closes Mbare Bus Terminus

Local government  authority Harare  City Council has temporarily closed down Mbare Musika bus terminus for renovations.

The move follows after government last week  made an announcement that it intends to rehabilitate old suburbs in major cities.


In a statement on Monday City Council said, “The City of Harare wishes to inform the public that Mbare Musika Bus Termini is currently closed for renovations.”


Temporary drop off and pick up points have been issued out.
Buses coming from Mutare ,Mutoko,Murewa and Goromonzi will temporarily rank at S.V MuzendA ( Fourth Street Rank).

While Bulawayo ,Mt Darwin , Bindura, Chiweseh , Shamvwa , Chinhoyi and Masvingo will drop off and pick up passengers at Coventry Holding Bay.
Mbudzi Complex Car Park Machipis Bus Terminus will be used to drop off and pick up passengers coming from  Maasvingo, Chiredzi and Beitbridge.

“Destinations not stated but fall on the same routes mentioned above will use the same pick-up and drop off points.”
“Council has designated temporary pick up and drop off points for intercity travel,” City council said.
