BETA Holdings Zimbabwe merges with KALULUSHI Clay Bricks Zambia

Zimbabwe ‘s leading infrastructural inputs supplier BETA Holdings has integrated with Kalulushi Clay Bricks Zambia limited, the leading manufacturer of clay bricks in Zambia with effect  from August 2020.

In a statement issued by the BETA INTERNATIONAL states that the merger resulted in the registration of beta international in Mauritius with plans to expand further into the Southern\Central African region in the next five years.

“This merger will strengthen the BETA group’s market leadership position in the infrastructural inputs market in Southern\Central Africa through a combination of KCB’s energy efficient manufacturing and BETA’s quality centric and innovative production systems to provide customers with high quality products”.

“ Ultimately, this creation of BETA International based from Mauritius is expected to spearhead the introduction and spread of operating entities in the respective territories which will offer greater efficiencies , quality product, competitive prices significantly assist in the infrastructure development of the region”.

The integration of both companies is set to take place over the next 3 months leading to December.

The Board of BETA Internationa chaired by Mr Albert Nhau made the following executive appointments to lead the Group‘s operation:

Mr Godfrey Tsikayi Manhambara: Group Executive Chief Officer

M Rob Gillies: Production Director                                                                                                         

Ms Cynthia Chizwina: Commercial Director

Mr Simbarashe Chiurayi: Acting Finance Director

BETA Holdings has vowed to work closely with employers, clients and stakeholders to make the integration process is smooth as possible and to ensure that during the transitions customers continue to receive the same high quality products.
