Popular dancehall/reggae musician Beenie Man has consoled Zimbabweans urging them to stay strong in the current turbulent times the nation is facing.
Beenie Man whose real name is Anthony Moses Davis is a globally well known musician or rather King of the dancehall as he would refer to himself and has come together in solidarity with other popular celebrities namely AKA,Casper Nyovest,Seh Calaz just to name a few.
Social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook have the #Zimbabweanlivesmatter trending as an amplified awareness for the world to know of the Human Rights violations,abductions,rampant corruption,depreciating health system and other serious issues pertaining to the economic challenges Zimbabwe is facing.
“Stay Strong. Just when you thought the troubles of the world slowed down. Sending blessings and prayers to both Zimbabwe and the affected in Beirut” Beenie Man tweeted yesterday.
In his reaction to a comment by one Twitter user Beenie said,”The incumbent regime is living in fear of the troubled masses while urging Zimbabweans to continue showing strength in light of their everyday struggles.”
“Zimbabwe Keep Strong!” said the musician strengthening the Southern Africa country citizens.
“Continue showing strength! They are afraid… (Oppression is) evident but we as PEOPLE, AS A NATION, WE HAVE TO CONTINUE FIGHTING BACK,” he encouraged Zimbabweans.
