Legal practitioner and MDC Alliance Vice President Tendai Biti representing Election Resource Africa and Walpe Academy appeared in court today challenging indefinite suspension of by-elections in Zimbabwe by government.


Biti argues that government t is selectively implementing provisions of the Constitution & ignoring those to do with holding of by-elections .


Tendai Biti says by not holding by-elections the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission is vandalising the Constitution.

Mamombe , Chimbiri granted ZWL$20,000 bail , not to address mass gatherings

MDC Alliance duo Joana Mamombe and Cecilia Chimbiri were granted ZWL$20,000 bail each on Wednesday by High Court Judge Justice Chitapi after spending close to two months in prison.
